Construction Contracting 

• Julie has drafted numerous construction contracts to assist general contractors and subcontractors on both residential and commercial projects.  She routinely advises her clients on how to preserve their lien rights and often resolves payment issues before litigation becomes necessary.

Construction Litigation

• Julie has represented contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in obtaining payment for their work.  She has successfully obtained judgments to enforce mechanic’s liens in complex, multi-party litigation, prosecuted and defended contract claims, and received favorable results for her clients through Miller Act litigation.
• She has also successfully defended contractors and subcontractors in construction defect cases involving luxury residences, government buildings and large commercial projects with underlying contract amounts ranging from $300,000 to $13 Million.

Real Estate Financing

• In her capacity as outside or local counsel for national and local companies, Julie has helped her clients secure more than $550 Million in real estate financing since 2011.

Development and Land Use

• Developers have relied on Julie to work collaboratively with municipal and county governments, neighboring landowners, and surveyors to bring commercial and residential subdivisions to life.  Representative work in this area includes negotiating development agreements, obtaining plat approval, and drafting restrictive covenants, easement agreements, and joint maintenance agreements.
• Ms. Stomper also represents landowners in zoning and land use matters before municipal and county boards. 

Real Estate Transactions

• Julie has experience negotiating purchase and sale contracts, guiding her clients through the due diligence process and facilitating resolutions to successfully close deals.  She has represented individuals purchasing  second-homes and large recreational ranches as well as companies purchasing thousands of acres of agricultural ground.
